PMC ALL STAR: Jake

PMC ALL STAR: Jake

In early 2019, Jake had a major spinal surgery. When he returned to PMC post-op, he was only able to stand for about 10 seconds before trying to sit back down. Jake has been working very hard to regain the strength and endurance that he had prior to his surgery.

Through his diligence and hard work, he is now able to walk 2 full laps around our Frederick clinic, (about 200 feet) by himself!  He's able to stand using his arms for balance on a platform for over 10 minutes. Jake is even able to dance when he is standing and loves every second of it! You can often find Jake walking around the Frederick clinic saying hi to everyone and knocking on all of the windows and doors.  Jake is a well-known part of the PMC community. He has made so much progress and we are incredibly proud of the work he has put in!

"He is an absolute joy to work with as his constant happiness is contagious to anyone he comes in contact with!  - Ms. Meghan

We're so proud of you Jake and we cannot wait to see what you accomplish next!
