Easter Egg-Citement

Spring is in the air and Easter is on the way! Here are some fun-filled ideas to enjoy the holiday...

Instead of dying Easter eggs this year, why not try jumbo marshmallows! They are less expensive and will last longer sitting on your table. Check out this blog for directions.

While peanut butter chocolate eggs, creme eggs, and jelly beans top the list as the most popular Easter candy for Easter baskets, why not add some non-food treats as well? Hide these special activities in plastic eggs or in your child's Easter basket for a big surprise on Easter morning:

Experiences:

  • 1/2 hour of extra screen time
  • Movie night with mom and dad
  • Going to bed an hour later
  • Picking out dinner one evening
  • Coupon for a trip to a special store
  • Picnic lunch at a park
  • Go on a bike ride
  • Baking day - find a recipe and bake it

  • Movie tickets to a local theater
  • Glow stick bubble bath
