4th of July Crafts

Crafts for the 4th of July Holiday!

Uncle Sam:
Supplies:
- 8 large popsicle sticks
- Red, White, and Blue paint
- Cotton Balls
- Silver Star Stickers
- Elmer’s Glue
- Black Sharpie
- Paint Brushes
Instructions:
- Paint 3 of your popsicle sticks white only halfway down
- Paint 3 of your popsicle sticks red only halfway down
- Paint 1 of your popsicle sticks completely red
- Paint 1 of the popsicle sticks completely blue
- Wait for the paint to dry
- Glue 3 red and 3 white popsicle sticks in an alternating pattern
- Take blue popsicle stick and cut to fit across the length of the 6 sticks you glued together
- Glue blue popsicle stick horizontally where the paint stops (halfway down)
- Glue red popsicle stick under blue popsicle stick
- Glue cotton balls around the unpainted edges of popsicle sticks
- Draw a face for Uncle Sam!
Fingerprint Fireworks
Supplies:
- Multi colored paint
- Worksheet
Instructions:
- Go to pinterest and download the Fingerprint worksheet (https://www.pinterest.com/pin/410460953594406415/)
- Dip your child's fingerprint or thumbprint into a color
- In each of the circles on the worksheet put a fingerprint
- Change the color of your paint and repeat until all circles are filled
