Father’s Day Crafts
1.
“O-fish-ally the World’s Best Dad!”
Supplies:
- Construction paper
- Black Sharpie
- Scissors
- Markers
- Glue Stick
Instructions
- Pick a piece of construction paper (any color) and draw a big fishbowl
- Cut out the fish bowl
- Using black sharpie draw the top edge of the bowl
- Using blue construction paper trace the cut out of fishbowl
- Cut out shape of the bowl making a “wave” pattern at the top to imitate water
- Glue water to the bowl with the waves at the top
- On any color paper of your child’s choosing trace their hand
- Cut out handprint
- Glue fish in the middle of water
- Draw an eye
- Draw a sideways heart for the fin
- Draw bubbles
- Using different colored markers dot the bottom of the fishbowl to make pebbles
- Write the message “O-fish-ally the world’s best dad!"
- Write "Happy Father’s Day" and child's name
2. My Dad Is a Catch
Supplies:
- Brown construction paper
- White construction paper
- Black sharpie
- Red sharpie
- Scissors
- Glue Stick
Instructions:
- Go to Pinterest and search for printable baseball mitt template
- Download, print, and cut out. (***If you don’t have a printer you can draw the mitt and then cut it out***)
- Trace the outline of the baseball mitt on brown construction paper
- Cut the mitt shape out
- Trace your child’s hand on the mitt as if they were wearing it
- Find a circular object you can trace for the baseball (make sure the circle fits in your child’s hand)
- Cut out the circle
- Using a red marker draw the stitching on the baseball
- Glue baseball to center of the handprint
- At the top of the mitt write “MY DAD IS A CATCH”
- Have your child sign their name (or write your child's name)
3. Grill Greeting Card
Supplies:
- Construction paper (black, blue, red, orange, and one sheet of any color of your choosing)
- Scissors
- Glue Stick
- Permanent marker
Instructions:
- Take a sheet of black construction paper and fold in half (short end to short end)
- Take a pen/marker and draw a half-circle starting at one side of the fold ending at the other
- Leaving the fold at the top, cut out the half circle (do not cut along the fold). This is the grill
- Cut out 2 identical sized strips for the legs of the grill
- Glue to the back on the curved part of the grill
- Using a sheet of red construction paper trace your child’s left hand
- Cut out the handprint
- On a sheet of orange construction paper trace your child’s right hand
- Cut out the hand print
- With the fold at the top glue the left handprint to the left side with the fingertips sticking out
- Repeat step 8 with the right handprint (the thumbs should overlap)
- Take any colored piece of construction paper and cut out a half circle that fits inside of the grill
- Glue the flat edge of the half circle to the edge of the fold (inside of the grill)
- Write a Happy Father’s Day message on the inside of the card
- Sign and date
- Using the blue construction paper draw a spatula
- Cut out the spatula
- Draw lines for the slots of the spatula
- Glue to the front of the card

Apraxia is a motor speech disorder. Childhood apraxia of speech is a rare, but lifelong disorder that makes it difficult for individuals to move their mouth muscles in order to speak. The important thing to note about Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) is that the child knows what they want to say, but may struggle with connecting the brain to the muscles that must accompany speech.

In a world often filled with uncertainty, Liam, a courageous six-year-old boy, has proven that faith, resilience, and the unwavering support of family can overcome even the most daunting challenges. His journey began on December 11th, 2023 when Liam fell down the stairs. What was thought to have been a seemingly innocent incident, quickly spiraled into a life-altering spinal stroke.
