How can a registered dietitian help?
What to expect from my first visit
The first visit with an RD will consist of sharing your medical history and what your goal’s are for the visit. Whatever your goals are, a dietitian will create a personalized plan to help you meet them. To understand the complete picture, you will be asked about your current nutrition intake. If you have labs, please bring them with you. The RD will look at your lifestyle, food preferences, past medical history, family history, and goals to better counsel you.
How many visits with the dietitian will you need?
Each patient’s needs are unique, so how often you meet with the RD will depend on your goals and needs.
Do you accept insurance?
Currently PMC's dietitian services are private pay only. Clients can individually submit reimbursement requests to their insurance provider.
